Great - more "shareholder value" - which is not the only impetus for the existence of a business.

We work for Express and are paid by Express, and the accounting of costs and revenue is shown on existing financial reports under Express.

If Freight is able to grow at a faster rate as its own company then its employees could benefit with increased salary and benefits.

If we are working under a “diminished carcass” as you say, then surely you aren’t advocating for more pension from that same “carcass”?

By the way your vested interest in fedex is your job. Nothing more nothing less. You want a stake in the company go buy some shares. If you left today no one would miss you, as a matter a fact you would help out the over manning. So get your applications out to a company that you are a stake holder in and can be happy.

Actually, I'm also vested in the pension. The direction of the company's business ethics make that a concern. I sold a healthy six figure position in the stock last year "expressly" because I did not like the way they were doing business.

I'm self important but you start out by telling me what I think? You should take a run through your own posts before you toss that particular stone around.
