We did. Our unity was with each other and voting down the TA.

For the betterment of the crew force.

Balls? Tell that to the guys who are voting with their feet and giving up years of seniority to start over somewhere else.

You wouldn’t know unity even if it smacked you in the face.

If they had balls we would have had a contract by now. Running away is balls?

There's a difference between pushing thru a substandard contract (one that doesn't some close to matching our peers,) and a contract that is industry standard and secures jobs.

That is the disconnect with the SM.

"Running away..." sure, call it what you wish. They voted with their feet and refused to subjugate themselves to company who does not value their worth, and to half of the pilot list who don't believe their job security is worth fighting for.

wow. I always thought Stan446 was the actual bottom left of the FDX APC bell curve but it is, in fact, max8222.

the mods say we need to act like adults here, so if you’re driving in MEM tonight DO NOT go fast. You’ll want to accelerate slowly and give yourself lots of extra room for stopping.

Running away?
It sounds more like they weighed the options and made a decision for themselves and their families. It probably sucked. They probably went over it a thousand times and were stressed about it. It’s hard to walk away from a job. It takes courage. Especially when it’s somewhere like FedEx where you planned to retire.

Oh I have - you should talk to our R&I guys about how safe it is. It is fairly for the company to unload the pension into a subset - yeah, congress improved the protections but not enough. Seriously...reach out to the R&I chair and ask about how the company could unload "the fund" without going into bankruptcy...or what happens to the fund if it goes into distress.....here's a hint - it's a lot worse than the market based cash balance plan. I'm sure you know that already.

what? grow up - talk to some guys in R&I. Talk to national - of course they work that way. Do you really believe your pension is guaranteed, there's no way to get rid of it short of bankruptcy? Really?

4a2c = reduced leverage
Reduced leverage = continued $hitty pay rates/bad contract entirely

It all starts with SCOPE
So give me an idea on how to greatly improve scope since that's the sort of thing you are talking about. I mean I'd like $1000/hr but I have zero idea how to get it. So give me an idea of how you will go completely against the Fedex Board of Directors and demand these scope changes all the while pilots are picking up open time trips in record time, extending voluntarily (because you know, then no one knows they took that draft trip) and we are in 4a2c.......doesn't really matter what you think is important, only matters what you can achieve at the table....

This is too funny.....could you pretty please post a photo of your award wall at home? You are ascendant? Christ...biggest mistake this company ever made was hiring so many millennials (don't care your age...you definitely are a millenial)
