Original post is gone but someone needs to buy OGarmy a beer. Fantastic. Yes voters hearing that this place isn’t the cat’s meow hurts some feelings but that was just funny.

This place is jetflyers uncensored.

if FedEx goes out of business, they’ll be a lot bigger problems than losing your pension…

This place is not that bad if you want to fly when normal people are sleeping, get paid below industry standard, have daily rigs below industry standard, constant revisions to your schedule, a sub system when the company decided to cancel your bid on trips, move to memphis.....but hey you have to consider the value of the "pension".....

The truth stings. The Fedex pilot contract makes clear that pilots on the master seniority list are only required for domestic (CONUS) flying. 1.B.4. "...the company may continue to interline, co-load, code-share, part charter and enter in block space agreements with other carriers to move freight and service in International markets (outside CONUS) as required."

Since many consider international flying to be the best flying, are you willing as a new hire to bet FedEx Pilots will be flying internationally 10 or 20 years from now? Choose wisely.

You are odd. I do understand pensions and mentioned PBGC. Lay off the booze before you post.

It is a J O B, not fantasy disco. They are not supposed to be fun. Get senior....or not and leave. It comes down to what you can put up with if you want to live in your outstation/base and block very little every year. It is a meh place to fly if you hate to fly 🤣. Pays better than BizEx/Connie and the checks do not bounce. So, yeah!

But all my friends told me during COVID that every trip they were flying was draft and they were making $300k+ a year and that it would last forever!
