FedEx that bad?

I’m retired and have a couple of your guys part timing for me. They let me read an email from your CP about suicides, and it started with the word “another”… that means they know there is a problem.
Your union should do a safety stand down which is not a job action. Take 72hrs and asses crew standing, morale, financially induced family issues. In almost 50yrs I’ve never read such a letter. You guys haven’t had a raise in a while, plus inflation, plus cut in hours. I’d imagine there’s a lot of guys dealing with problems induced by corporate inaction.
I’m sorry any fellow pilot chooses such action and you must all watch one another closely. Naturally we are the type that bites down and keeps pushing.

My first 121 gig after the military. Combat veteran. I feel like I’ve been through some stressful portions of life. I’m certainly living through one now. I could see how the current issues we face as a crew force, amplified by emotions of the holidays, and then add on additional life stressors and ANYONE could easily find themselves in a dark place.
If we were a squadron or airwing, we would absolutely have a safety stand down. Take care of eachother out there! If you seek help, that takes some serious strength and courage. It is not a sign of weakness!

NO ONE should consider working for FedEx in ANY capacity for at least 10 years.
Yes, it is that bad.

Hey management, why don't you give us the contract we've EARNED? Who do you think had a significant input in EARNING the BILLIONS of dollars you are using for stock buybacks?
Stop jerking us around! You are NOT negotiating in good faith, and we all know it! The longer this goes on, the higher the price in the end.
Show us the money!

he’s a nice guy, but he’s a nice guy playing for the other team. Endless contract negotiations, a new leadership that is trying to eliminate our jobs in plain sight, reduced paychecks for the foreseeable future, fatiguing schedules that are only getting worse… let’s take care of each other because it’s getting harder and harder to keep a cool head amidst this sullen landscape.
