Default FedEx that bad?

I’m retired and have a couple of your guys part timing for me. They let me read an email from your CP about suicides, and it started with the word “another”… that means they know there is a problem.

Your union should do a safety stand down which is not a job action. Take 72hrs and asses crew standing, morale, financially induced family issues. In almost 50yrs I’ve never read such a letter. You guys haven’t had a raise in a while, plus inflation, plus cut in hours. I’d imagine there’s a lot of guys dealing with problems induced by corporate inaction.

I’m sorry any fellow pilot chooses such action and you must all watch one another closely. Naturally we are the type that bites down and keeps pushing.

I'm sure the media would love to know about this, and the effects of inaction at the bargaining table by the company.

If we were a squadron or airwing, we would absolutely have a safety stand down. Take care of eachother out there! If you seek help, that takes some serious strength and courage. It is not a sign of weakness!
Management is too busy manipulating the SAM, driving us into 4a2c and formulating a furlough plan for a safety stand down.. The most important thing right now is to cut costs and punish the pilot group for not liking the TA.

Exactly. More management that makes it about themselves somehow and is clueless what it's actually like for the average line pilot. In times like these, leaders need to lead. Not show up every once in awhile with some classless email.

This, the union should send out the letter as a press release.

NO ONE should consider working for FedEx in ANY capacity for at least 10 years.

Yes, it is that bad.

100% correct.

Hey management, why don't you give us the contract we've EARNED? Who do you think had a significant input in EARNING the BILLIONS of dollars you are using for stock buybacks?

Stop jerking us around! You are NOT negotiating in good faith, and we all know it! The longer this goes on, the higher the price in the end.

Show us the money!

Put down the f'ing pitchforks for 5 minutes. Seriously.

RS isn't the bad guy in flight management. He's still a good guy and on our side.

No one in management is on "our side."

he’s a nice guy, but he’s a nice guy playing for the other team. Endless contract negotiations, a new leadership that is trying to eliminate our jobs in plain sight, reduced paychecks for the foreseeable future, fatiguing schedules that are only getting worse… let’s take care of each other because it’s getting harder and harder to keep a cool head amidst this sullen landscape.
