Hey guys, I'm currently a DEC at Envoy. I've been waiting for over a year to see any sign of hiring. Last night I checked once again and finally was able to submit the basic questionnaire and resume that had been previously locked out. I'm not trying to stir the pot on here but curious lately if there are any signs of hiring at all in 2025? Off subject, I live in Indy; how long historically does it take to hold that as a base, even just on reserve? Thank you

No sign of hiring. We're told that we are still over staffed and are currently in 4.A.2.C (Reduced monthly guarantee). They don't want to hire anyone, because they would have to come out of 4.A.2.C and pay us full guarantee again. 2 Purple Runway candidates currently waiting to be hired w/ 2 more becoming qualified soon. They'll likely be the first indication of the resumption of hiring.

Don't come to work here unless you cannot get hired by one of the big three.

This place should be last or next to last on your places to work list.

We are no longer being treated as first tier pilots, even though they told us we were when we were hired.

The Purple Promise is dead, buried, and IMHO, will never return to life.

Tell me you've never been through contract negotiations at an airline without telling me you've never been through contract negotiations at an airline.

But to the OP, please make sure you at least do a LITTLE research on working here...like the fact that we're an OVERNIGHT delivery company. That means that you MAY actually have to work nights because that's what this company has been about since 1973. Apparently, that fact was missed by some folks hired during the COVID era.

Y’all get on Flightaware and search for PANC and count how many inbound FedEx flights on Saturday from Asia.

Only one.

If the tariff situation doesn’t change I don’t think we’ll be hiring for years….

Or the fact that we are outsourcing huge amounts of flying. TPE has lost 8 flights a week, started in April. Went from daily service to ANC and 3 flights a day of belly freight to 13 flights a day of belly freight and no ANC flight. Tariffs are part of the story but the writing is on the wall if we don’t get Sec 1 figured out.

Try every other day, plenty of FX flights. And its time of day to see the FX flights. 777 doing plenty of international flights. Try looking at a bid pack to see whats truly happening instead of flightaware.
