I'm really not sure what you're implying with regard to the last two accidents in the pax world.

The FedEx business model can change. Do you recall that Europe 757 flying was suppose to continue even after the closure of Cologne? Management stated that it would be flown by the MEM 757 bidback. And surprise, surprise. Come April, all that flying will be gone.

Went over this already a few times but since you are slow will repeat it again. FedEx said IF 757 flew in Europe it would be covered out of MEM. They did but say that Europe flying would be flown by 757. Reading comprehension is key, not what your FB fan bois want to make up.

The relevant system bid for the CGN closure mentioned that it was more cost effective for the company to operate 757s in Europe via the Memphis base vs an FDA. It didn't mention the word "if" as it relates to future 757 flying over there. Even if they did mention "if 757 flying continues in Europe," that doesn't mean that scope is an irrelevant factor.

CGN 757s weren't the assistant regional manager...they were the assistant to the regional manager

Not how it works. After TWA/AA there were laws (Bond/McCaskill Act) and ALPA policy implemented that are pretty clear. Look at UA/CAL. The senior pilot group (FDX) gets screwed now. In TWA/AA, the group that was far more junior (AA) held all the cards and esseentially stapled the senior (TWA) group. In an effort to promote a "fair" integration, it now goes roughly by your relative seniority in your current pilot group. I don't know the lists at the ACMI carriers, but I'd bet a 50% pilot at one of those has a DOH far more recent than a 50% pilot at FDX. There is also a computation for career expectations that goes into it, but that's an area where nobody will ever agree and it is a minimal part of the calculation.

UA pilots got slotted in with CAL pilots 10 years their junior. We want no part of this.

This was announced yesterday during the FY25Q3 earnings call. There was significant discussion about Express and the purple tail fleet. FY32 is now the expected retirement date of the MDs. The new 777Fs ordered are the last 8 777Fs Boeing built. They also procured 2 used 777Fs from an unnamed source. These 777Fs are for future MD retirement and growth. Expextes deliveries in 26’ and 27’. Expecting $1B per year in aircraft capital expenditures beyond FY26.
