Indeed. Look no further than the SM for that. “This is a good deal because FedEx management says so…”

SMH.

Turns out the "yes" voters weren't the malefactors, but denial is a strong defense mechanism.

The primary reasons the 2023 TA was voted down was because it didn’t meet the criteria for our very focused openers: industry leading rates of pay and retirement.

Scope was big. But a secondary factor.

I don’t think people understand how far down our pay was pushed in that TA. Southwest pilots would’ve out earned every pilot we have in every seat except the 777 and MD international pilots that achieve block over 8. We effectively got rid of wide body pay on that TA. No thanks.

Has someone been recalled? As far as I can tell the last MEC rep to be recalled was PO, who is now one of the louder voices pushing for more recalls.

"We need to recall all the people we don't like! And then we need to outlaw recalls so others can't recall the people we DO like!"

Yay Team!

This is true.

Another meeting end because they lost a quorum? What a joke of an MEC. They don’t like how a meeting is going so they walk out. Meanwhile we are losing $$$ everyday without our ties on.

The fact half the meetings end because loss of quorum tells you how AFU this MEC is - worst in 20 years. Zero progress, zero leadership - thanks TC.

What happened to that "direct line" JG told us he had to the NMB? Why in the world does he need a formal letter - I figured he'd have Beebe on the phone in a minute with an answer. Oh unless that was all bull**** and we are right back where we were in March of 24 - having to plead for more meetings because we haven't figured this **** out.

Remember when us idiots voted down TA23 then the VERY NEXT week Western Global (major md11 operator) declared bankruptcy? Ooohh, and then immediately after that FDX magically found “a new customer” that needed several new MD11 lines? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Thank god that scope was voted down. Can’t believe we have so many “educated” pilots that can’t think outside the box or connect the dots until it’s too late. Just joking, the company would never do that.
