So do you think our earnings report will help us get a better contract or in spirits position of declaring bankruptcy?

We just don’t know how to get a contract.

In order to get a contract… million dollar flight cancellations would speed up the process, but we have so many independent contractors answering their phones… this could drag on another couple years.

Moral of the story… pilot need to unify

Meaning,

(stop scabbing… hold those who are accountable… someone should make a website called FDXdraft*****s.com… list the names… we could see a turnaround in a few months)

who here wants to fly with these guys???? Not me

Nobody is scabbing because we aren’t on strike. Learn the proper use of that word.

I don’t agree with some of the actions of our pilots in this time as much as you do, but they’re exercising their contractual right. Not scabbing…read the CBA, or RLA..instead of posting ignorant gripes. You can’t scab unless there’s a picket line to cross.

No we aren’t on strike and never will be, but….

Definition:

Scabs are seen by workers as “traitors” who are taking their jobs/livelihoods and undermine the union’s efforts to secure better wages and working conditions…

If we can’t strike because we will never be released… do you think a drafting pilot doesn’t meet the other parameters of a SCAB?

If I had to make a guess about that….

they probably have apps on file with the big 3 and haven’t been called yet, and hope that a new jet type and having FedEx listed as their current employer, they’ll get a phone call soon. I can’t imagine many of these guys will stick around here long unless they’re corner cases, live driving distance to ANC/MEM/OAK etc

You would think that management puling the "we just don't have the money, guys" line would kind of be hollow. Just like when they were shown that the dues collected before and after 4.a.2.c were practically the same, suggesting that flying was being hidden to justify a unilateral 20% pay cut.

Perhaps its time for another ethics and corporate culture lecture from the usual suspects.
