I’ll vote no on anything. If a section is TA’d it means the company also agreed to it, and they’d never do anything that was in our favor. I’m a hard no on all things until the company is no longer at the table.
Is this a win for us? Why did the company agree to remove sections 4.A.2.B and 4.A.2.C? Did they believe they would lose the grievance? Are they prioritizing furloughs instead? Could there be a more sinister motive we haven’t uncovered yet, which might take years to fully understand?
From my experience at FedEx, the company doesn’t act out of kindness. Their decision likely serves to avoid something unfavorable or to gain something they want or need.

I agree with fr8. Matter of fact we should not negotiate until the company isn’t at the table and Raj and JD are not in charge. None of them represent our interests!
TC and the five are the only ones to save us! We will just need to wait 10 years

What are we going to gain from the recalls? We will go right back to the same NC that brought us absolutely nothing for 18 months, while spending a ton of your dues money to do so. If we stay the course for a bit, give AB an honest chance, what do we have to lose? They have already accomplished more than the previous crew. If you're in Blocks 1, 4, or 8 and you don't like having your dues money wasted....please make sure to vote against the recalls. You need to call your friends in those blocks and explain this position to them.
You CAN change your votes on recalls up until it closes (21st I believe?)

Think about this: IF the recalls are successful, there will be an effort to put us right back into 4.A.2.c.....

Yes, but if Blks 1 and 8 are both recalled, then those members are removed immediately...as soon as the vote closes on Tuesday morning. In that case the MEC will be split 5-5, and roll call voting will take center stage. At that point, expect AB to be fired as NC chair, and go back to where we were for the last 18 months. Even if AB can get a TA by Tuesday, if Blks 1/8 are recalled and roll call voting occurs I believe the MEC can then vote to NOT send the TA to the membership for ratification (the rules changed after TA23, maybe someone knows better). So if we want to at least see what is possible with AB negotiating (beyond what he's done already), we need to keep Blk 1/8 for the time being. Thats at least how it looks from where I'm sitting.

Comer has already promised "when" (his words) the recalls are successful, AB will be removed, Gustafson will be put back in place and we go right back to square one.

4a2c was never furlough protection. If furlough was the best business decision nothing about 4a2c prevented it. What it did was give them an option to let us pay for mismanaging staffing.

Apathy has been historically high and voter turnout has been historically low here. That's how we ended up in situation to begin with. Get out and vote. Tell your friends, fellow crew members and anyone else who will listen to reason. To don't the lunatics on Jetflyers and the lunatics that have lost power on the MEC win!

Call all your friends in Blocks 1, 4 and 8 and encourage them to get out and vote.
