Government run schools and media are such a blessing to large corps

See here, a man who his own government is working to replace with non citizen third world labor, is too scared to speak up because it might be “talking politics” “racism” or whatever other nonsense, vs what it really is which is big corps working hand and hand with paid for policy to lower his QOL.

You are a real piece of anal craftsmanship. You just go from thread to thread looking for something immigration to whine about. I can pretty much guarantee that any foreign pilot I’ve ever flown with in the last 40 years was a better person than you are.

Reality check, US pilots are employed all over the world. I was hired as a 737 captain at a Korean airline back in the early 90s.

Reality check. Your point is not a point. US pilots are hired around the world where there is a shortage of qualified pilots. They are not hired to break the backs of indigenous pilots.

This hasn't always been true. Read about the 1989 Australian pilot disputes. They hired a bunch of US pilots to be scabs.

The Americans that were working in Australia and New Zealand postwar definitely undercut Aussie and Kiwi pilots returning from service with Bomber Command, etc. Americans flying within Europe had an effect on wage growth there. Americans flying at Asian carriers make it possible for Asian nations to have anemic indigenous training systems.

I am against E3 hiring. We have also been in exactly the same position as these Aussies too. Let's not pretend the Aussies are doing anything we haven't done before. End the hiring, but don't go after the specific pilots. Nobody is going to achieve higher compensation by forming a schism within the anybody"s pilot group.

And those individuals were noted on a certain list that cannot be named that protected a seat.

The numbers of Americans at AUS and NZ outfits was a vanishing minority of the pilots employed there. I remember all of the Anglospheric nations pulling up the drawbridge on American pilots (even at places like Cathay) post 9/11 and GFC. It was a thing.

I mean, my assessment is that the Aussie pilots here on even their visa carve out are engaging in visa use that was outside the original intent, but the reality is that carve out was signed as part of the GWOT.

Were you part of a Korean union? I even wonder if the Korean pilots ever even talked to you. I can assure you that Korean companies would have had no problem canceling the contract to protect their own pilots.

Agreed. The use of E3 hires is far and away outside of the original intent of the visa. I'm arguing against skewering the pilots already on property. I am, however, against the abuse of the E3 program which has occurred.
