Shlt, if you don't like Memphis, don't live there!
Check crime stats in Germantown and Collierville and see how they compare with any city in the US. Schools are good there. Homes are affordable and taxes are reasonable. Many have the extra cash to send their kids to private schools if they choose.
Inner city Memphis is bad. Poverty and crime. I'd be willing to bet that very few Fedex pilots live there. My wife isn't afraid to live here.
I don't get the obsession of people that don't live here that constantly berate a place where they don't live.
So tell me you negative whiners, where do you live?
