Well done and congrats! Would you be willing to say that the study packet you received was adequate to study for the test? What airframe do you think you will get? Again - nice job!

Yes, the study packet that FEDEX sent me was a good guide for the computer knowledge test. I just went over everything they identified. The other two tests (psych and COG) didn't really need any studying. That, or I have no idea how to study for them. The psych test is just answer what you think. And the COG test was kind of like solving an active puzzle.

No idea what we'll get. They mentioned that ANC MD-11's may be full by Dec, but they'll still be looking to hire into the Cologne base. Again, this is just what I got from the people in the hiring department. I'm sure there are others on this board with much better knowledge than myself.

av8vito,
Congratulations!
Did they mention anything about future interviews? Are they really done for the rest of the year?
Thanks.

Sorry, I didn't ask about any future interviews. But, there were three candidates there, taking the computer testing, while we were interviewing.

I'm an USAF fighter guy with testing sheduled in early October. Anyone have advice on where to go to get Sim prep? Thanks

Busboy 09-09-2011 08:06 AM

A USAF fighter guy...Hmmm. I know where to send USN P3 guys. But, not a USAF fighter guy.
Maybe you should check with Aaron at Emerald Coast Interview Consulting. He was a USAF fighter guy, too. And, I'm sure he could steer you in the right direction.

Vaneau,
As you can see no hiring process is perfect. FEDEX has its' fair share of dorks. As a fighter guy you need no sim prep:D
