How many people do we still have in the pool? Would love to get a sound off from those still waiting. Anxious to get you guys through so I can get a shot at an interview...

I know a guy who was hired recently. It took 6 to 7 months from interview to class date. Bear in mind we did not have a class every week, however. Also, training slowed during peak and a slight delay occurred while the "re-tested" group were given class dates in front of him too.
He told me they were briefed by the VP and hiring will go to 20/month starting in March and will go on "indefinitely". Of the 10 new hires, 4 got 727 FO and 6 got 727 SO, all MEM based. 50/50 Mil vs. Civ. I heard that very soon, some of the 727 SO's may be held in their current positions until the 727's are finally parked (read, no more 727 SO new hires). They will be awarded upgrades on future bids, but training dates will be delayed and appropriate passover pay will apply. The pool should have about 40 to 50 left. I was told that the pool would be empty by the end of March. FWIW...good luck guys. |

HKG for Feb/Mar is correct. (Personally know the guys.) Up to around June/July interview dates for guys going to class. |
