Better than a 900,000 one!
Though 999,999 would be kinda cool to have. |

No, you don't have to be a full-time employee. I was a part-time handler for Express early this year, and you only have to put in 1 year in the position, then you can get a guaranteed interview as long as you meet the minimums and they are hiring. I couldn't survive on the part-time position only, so I had to leave for a full-time flying job. I would have loved to stay and put in the year, but it was not possible to get a flying job and work the handler job at the same time. Oh well, just gonna have to get in as an "external" guy.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. So does the same apply if you work part-time at FedEx Freight? If so, that might be an option. |

I don't know. The guy with 9999 isn't so cool. He can't even use 9999 to log into the company computers for some reason or other.;)

My personal experience. 8/7/94 hired as a casual part time employee (handler/equipment operator) at RIC - casual employee status didn't count towards the 1 yr requirement 11/20/94 became a permanent part time employee - my one yr clock started 11/20/95 - eligible to apply to any posting within the company that I was qualified to apply to 12/1/95 first posting for pilot that I could apply for Week of 1/22-26/96 sim and interview in MEM 2/8/96 notified that I was hired 2/21/96 started Basic Indoc Goes to show, 1 yr may not necessarily equal 1 yr, in my case it was 18.5 months |

Nah, think of yourself as "an 800 Series"
fbh The 600 series had rubber skin. We spotted them easy, but these are new. They look human... sweat, bad breath, everything. Very hard to spot. I had to wait till he moved on you before I could zero him. Look... I am not stupid, you know. They cannot make things like that yet. :D:D |

For a professional instructor versus line pilot, right?? That would explain the jump to the 800,000 as no pilot hiring for awhile, but lots of other folks throughout the system have been hired. |
