What was your methodology in creating this?

It is much different than my figures.

Maybe I'm reading the figures wrong but they seem way off. You have Fedex peaking at 5% per year - with 4200 pilots (conservative low figure) that's 210 pilots/year - I'd say we'll be over 400/year for 2016 and 2017 for sure - after that who knows. Those numbers have been pretty public so I'm guessing many other numbers are way off as well??

I think the FAPA numbers don't reflect fleet growth.

Its just the retirements pulled straight off the airline info pages of airlinepilotcentral.

heres the whole thing
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...OeHIc/pubhtml#

for some reason the raw retirements chart doesnt work there but works here

Yeah those numbers are wrong. Growth is unknown for Fedex but we are way behind in hiring so will hire more than we retire in the next several years.

Yeah I doubt any of the published retirement numbers at any airline are congruent with the actual pilot seperation number. It seems that none of the hiring anywhere mirrors the exact seperation numbers either.
I think the big take away for FDX is that the movement due to retirements will be in line with the other majors and it is just now beginning based on the numbers the company is projecting for 2016.

What are the next couple indoc class dates? About how far in advance does FedEx typically notify you of your start date?

Is the window still open for submitting an app. Can't seem to find it anywhere.

From what I remember during the interview process, they start Indoc classes the beginning of each month (I'm expecting 5 Apr). Kim gave us a good expectation of when she though we might start while we were there. We should hear something official next week wrt our start date.

https://fedex.pilotcredentials.com

Select "Sign Up" in the upper left corner. If FedEx doesn't want your application, you won't be able to sign up for an account or submit an application. I've also seen it posted on this homepage of when they close their app window. They are accepting new profiles.
