I was pretty happy at Delta too, right up until I got furloughed.

I'm not downplaying the excitement of a Delta, American, United, etc. If that's your only choice, then do it! But the people who are saying FedEx is suddenly second fiddle clearly have short term memory and/or no clue of how good it really is with FedEx. Thank you FedExDelta for backing up my point.

It's all mai tai's, peaches, and lemonade until oil spikes or the terrorists come a knocking.

And how many of those guys actually had a call and a class date from FedEx? I'm guessing none, as nobody has had one in almost two years.

What airline is your #1?

Whichever calls for an interview...period.

How about the airline which has the most honorable (or least corrupt) management? It's a changing landscape, but always take the long view.

How are we doing these days?

Having flown both people and boxes, you'd have to double my pay to go back to flying people. I've only been here 4 years but quality of life is awesome. I've been able to drop my entire month 90% of the time and pick where and when I go. Day flying only would be possible.

Granted, I live in Memphis, with family and friends, but the pax carrying business sucks.

If I were stuck driving for a living, I'd rather drive a Peterbilt than a Greyhound.

Just one of each. Been at Fedex since 05, and quite happy about it. As I spend Christmas in Guangzhou. lol
