Have a quick Osprey question. A family member marine aviator is looking to select Ospreys but wants to be at FedEx in the long run. Any info on how airline look at Osprey time?

>12.5K pounds. Is that empty fuel weight? Max takeoff weight? What exactly is that stipulation referring to?

Does not count for any airline that I am aware of. I think most pilots with Osprey time are doing the rotor transition program offered at the regionals. Search the military sub forum there has been discussion there.

Wondering if anyone has done Emerald Coast for interview prep and if they can speak to the webinar vs in-person experience. I've been registered for almost two years and based on military events, am now getting serious about the interview process.
I've wanted to do the in-person seminar with Emerald Coast for a number of months but their in-person events seem a lot more sparse than when I first signed up with them a couple years ago. I've heard from a few folks that have told me to definitely do the in-person primary and do the webinar as a back-up. Thoughts from the crowd; is there a substantive difference or should I just bite the bullet and do the webinar? |
