Surprising.

1. On the work history of the online app it keeps saying, "there are gaps in your employment history." Basically, some years back when I was an FNG I flew part time for a corporate gig and part time flight instructing. The jobs overlap but I still get that message, anyone else have that problem?

2. Are the latest batch of nh's without TPIC or a 75/767 type? (As I have niether)

3. How many days off can a new hire expect get per month? I'd likely be commuting from Florida. How are the HKG schedules and seniority list movement? I have family in the Philippines and wouldn't mind living in Asia for a few years also.

Thanks in advance!
New hires work 15 days a month max 8 (4 week) months a year and 19 days a month max 4 (5 week) months a year. In training commuting can be tough the 1st 90 days or so. I'll bet the nhs have TPIC. HKG schedules are probably better than low seniority Memphis schedules. If you are willing to go there I would make sure everyone knew it.

We got it by taking the actual Delta test at out regional when we went to interview & got hired last year, also downloading all the delta gouge off the Sheppards website and Emerald coast also sends out an awesome pack of Delta tech stuff to review for interviews

Is there some kind of internal recommendation system similar to what Delta is doing these days? I've got recs attached to my application but I'm wondering if there are any other measures I can take. Thanks in advance.

Any suggestions for a plain jane regional FO? 4300TT 50TPIC (yeah not much)... most of that 121 FO time in an RJ. No checkride failures (ever), volunteer work with my church and ALPA, 2 internal recs, possibly a third coming up... willing to accept an FDA. Not sure what else I can do to set me apart, other than upgrade and get that 1000TPIC. App has been in for just a couple months once the window opened and they dropped the TPIC requirement.

upgrade at my regional is long but Im not far away. I went in last week and took a hub tour and met with a recruiter (KD) for a few mins. After the tour and meeting several folks, FedEx has become my number one choice. Everything was impressive to me and the vibe I received from all the people I met was very positive. I feel personally that it would be a good fit. My feeling is that I am still a ways off from an interview invite, I'll just keep plugging away and waiting on the call. I came away from Memphis really stoked on the company and I really hope to join you all one day.

Well there will be next class! Although I was enlisted, it still counts. Plus, I was a Pro and I fit into one of the red highlighted ones you pointed out.

Wink General Science & knowledge Blah Blah Blah

Does any buggy know if FDX still does the 7 part general knowledge battery for part of the interview?

I know that was popular back in 2007 when they were looking for IQ, but I've seen a transition to more EQ and XQ based factors that most companies measure for now....

The General test had stuff like, science, vocabulary ect...
