Default (Fdx) ground transportation deviation (Mem)

Does anyone have info on taking ground transportation to/from Mem to Bna or Bhm instead of the double deadheads? Thanks in advance.

Ok. Thanks. Did you have to get preapproval from flight ops?

Why not? It's a deviation expense. Of course, if it exceeds the Grd transport limit($100)...you need authorization.

Perhaps you are thinking of not being able to limo from home to your domicile airport.

8.C.3.b.ii Surface (including water borne) transportation of reasonable expense between commercial locations, or between a residence and the field airport/FedEx field operations area, greater than $100 per occurrence requires prior approval by a pilot’s Fleet Captain

Kong is confusing using bank money from your house to AOC with using ground transportation from MEM to an outlying station. For example, you can take Amtrak to MSY or ORD too.

Ok. Thanks. Can't seem to get PFC to accept preapproval. Maybe that's why they are thinking that. It says GT not allowed in domicile. Is there a trick to get it to accept it. Origin is MEM place is residence?

Thanks for all the help ya'll

Okay. Talked to Duty officer. They said that you have to put BNA to BNA in the origin and destination. Then put into comments that you are doing MEM to BNA and the company you are using. Matchless limo is the current BNA company.
Thanks again for everyone's help.
