It seems like it would be an easy fix to just add "business class". If we get to renegotiate this TA, I can't see why the union would resist this. If the company does, then we will know their intentions.

Exactly busdriver12!

I certainly hope that in a week we will be talking about what needs to be fixed in this TA, as we continue negotiations.

Yes, I've heard the company negotiators have cleared their calendars on 10/21 so we can get right back to negotiating. And Fred told them, "bring the corporate check book. "

OBTW, did I mention that was 10/21/16?

I get your sarcasm, but if the TA is rejected, we continue in Section 6 negotiations. It's that simple. I didn't say it would be fast or easy. I said we continue in negotiations.

Some guys on here make fun of this possibility from Airbus, because it is still in the patenting phase. I think the company looks at this TA, and all negotiations 20 years out, while our horizon is about 4 years out. They have the long term strategy. Now, when/if this or similar patents are approved, and our TA is voted it, our CBA language will be ready for these seats.

And when this comes to pass on the scheduled DH,
Can I still Deviate? And will my bank still reflect the highest class as this clipping suggests?

d duty period is 16 hours or less. vi. v. Regardless of the class of service actually bookedticketed, a pilot's deviation bank shall be credited with the Baseline Fare for the highest class of service which is authorized on the scheduled deadhead flight, and which exists on that flight.

I understand. I lived in section 6 here from 1993-1999. 2 unions, 2 T/As voted down, a failed job action, parking lot deal, T/A (company's last, best and final minus $125 million)passed under duress.

The next T/A two years down the road will be this one minus a nickel.

No, I don't think so. I'm just a realist. If this T/A goes down I will sigh, shake my head and soldier on. I'll follow the will of the majority in whatever lies ahead. Haven't heard one damn thing from any no voter that has a reasonable chance of causing the company to pony up more money in any significant amounts.

$125 million less in 1999 contract? I will refute that with hard data determined by the follow-on NC with ALPA E&FA analysis. Simply ask for it. It's available if you want to see it.

The capitulation in the parking lot by FF was REAL based on failed union leadership, not the pilots. The actual dollar amount of the parking lot deal was $17 million less than the original agreement.

Face it CC, you just want a 10% pay bump and the signing bonus. You're senior enough not to worry about the rest. Independent contractor. Admit it. You're not willing to admit the QOL givebacks or even acknowledge you're easily bought with dollars up front. You're better than that but if you don't think so, I can't help you. You're probably tired of waiting and just want to move on. Thought you had more fight in you.

Funding the VCP habit isn't the priority of the majority of the crew force. But I might have you confused for someone else on that point. The rest applies.
