How could I have been so blind. With that, I have ditched my "Vote No" lanyard and changed my vote to YES. Who am I to deny those that have put so many years into the company and are within a year a retirement all the bonus money they will see under this TA. I am ashamed that I was being so selfish. I'm sure the silverback is only looking after his own silver backside. Since he is planning on retiring in a year or so, that 40k must be appealing. Even though he won't have to work under this contract for any length of time. Pull that ladder up!
Me, I am hoping to leave in 10 years. Unfortunately, I'm not 54 yet so no soup for me. With the whopping increases in the B plan, I may accrue about 40k extra in the next 10 years. That's if I hit 260K for each of those 10 years. I guess that's my exit bonus.
