I should do that because I don't recall the last time I've voted on the winning side of an election or vote. If I change my vote to no, it will almost guarantee the TA passes.

How could I have been so blind. With that, I have ditched my "Vote No" lanyard and changed my vote to YES. Who am I to deny those that have put so many years into the company and are within a year a retirement all the bonus money they will see under this TA. I am ashamed that I was being so selfish. Thanks for opening my eyes.

I see what you're saying Bob. I originally thought that if everyone read the contract and voted what was in their best interest, we would have a decision that was considered "the best option" by the majority of the pilots...either yes or no. So we should actually vote what we think we know is best for the other pilots. That way we get what we think is "the best option" for the minority of the group. Very altruistic. Mother Teresa and Gandhi are surely smiling.

I'm sure the silverback is only looking after his own silver backside. Since he is planning on retiring in a year or so, that 40k must be appealing. Even though he won't have to work under this contract for any length of time. Pull that ladder up!
Me, I am hoping to leave in 10 years. Unfortunately, I'm not 54 yet so no soup for me. With the whopping increases in the B plan, I may accrue about 40k extra in the next 10 years. That's if I hit 260K for each of those 10 years. I guess that's my exit bonus.
TOGA!
