The real reason they should step down is they voted unanimously to end negotiations then whipsawed and immediately began viciously attacking the TA before anything was out about it .........no print copies, no roadshows nada.............it seems to me this duplicitous tactic was planned all along..........JMHO

Now that the TA is passed. Will the union leaders (DON, ANITA, etc) who vehemently railed against the contract. Please have the decency to step down.
Go back to the line where you belong. You don't represent most of us.
Please try to maintain some self respect.
This applies to all the "I TOLD you so" posts to follow= Waste of time

Yet, only 54% of the eligible pilots they represent, voted for the TA.
If only 270 of the "yes" voters had voted "No"...The TA would have failed.
I agree. Our MEC is NOT representative of us.
Just sayin'

If she leads your block then you may have something to say.... if not, then bloviate elsewhere. She definitely OVERWHELMINGLY represents a majority of her block. Fortunately, that is my block. Go away.

Just to be precise, it is a LEC decision not a block decision. I like her too, she is not going anywhere unless she wants to.

The 9-5 vote was to end negotiations and send the TA back for final language. Nine voted YES; end negotiations and create a TA. Five voted NO; keep negotiating.
4 of those 5 then voted not to send the resultant TA to the membership for ratification and they put out information on why they thought the TA wasn't good enough.
There was already an unsuccessful attempt to recall the Block 11 rep and now someone is suggesting a recall of another block rep.
The CRM takeaway is that anyone that says "I'm uncomfortable with that" needs to be fired. Real nice.

If you want to be precise, it is a LC (Local Council) decision. The Local Council consists of all the pilots in the three blocks, including the Block Reps, which are the Local Council Officers.
Those three alone are also the LEC, or Local Executive Council.
The information on our website is not correct when it says, "You are in LEC ____". Unless you're a Block Rep, you aren't. You're in LC ___.

Actually, it was 3 of those 5 plus 1 more. Block 8 and Hong Kong voted "No", then "Yes." Anchorage voted "Yes", then "No".
So, in total, 6 of the 14 cast at least one "No" vote.
