I did, via e-mail from National about 2 hours after the vote closed. For the life of me I don't understand why the results were not published in today's edition of Positive Rate, which went out at least 4 hours later.
I'll use initials to protect the innocent:
1041 Eligible Voters, 562 voted (53.99%) GOOD SHOW!
Block 1:
S.M. - 201 Votes (39%)
D.R. - 312 Votes (61%)
Total 513 Votes
Block 4:
D.A. - 283 Votes (56%)
T.C. - 225 Votes (44%)
Total 508 Votes
Block 8:
D.L. - 229 Votes (52%)
E.M. - 210 Votes (48%)
Write-In - 1 Vote
Write-In - 1 Vote
Total 441 Votes
I am told P.H. won Block 3 with 72% of the vote, only 20% of eligible voters participated
I don't have any information about the Anchorage election results.

Besides, I thought Kit has demonstrated that it's OK to post on APC as a sitting Rep.

TonyC, Thanks for posting the results (something the Union should have done ), and thanks for throwing your hat in the ring. I was looking forward to you representing our Block. Only one of the candidates for whom I voted won... But it wasn't for a lack of effort! I voted early, and often.

I'm new at this, but I think barely over 50% is kinda sad.

Over 50 is huge. When I ran I think turnout was 20%. Might explain how I got in back in 08...
I agree that the pilots should be very engaged. Congrats the new reps, and Godspeed. Thanks to those who had the guts to throw their names in the ring. Its not an easy job, even outside negotiations. Glad we had pilots willing to do the job...

For much of the last 2 years I've been volunteering to help certify ALPA elections and TA's. They've made it easier to vote the past few years (it's all online now, you can vote during a layover ... you can even vote on your phone).
Election results are faxed immediately to the MEC (and the candidates) frequently while we're still verifying the results of other elections. I don't know what happens when the MEC office gets them?
That said, local counsel elections frequently have less than 20% participation. For some of the very small counsels, sometimes the winner gets 5-10 votes!
Write in votes require that you write in the Member's ALPA number. Our FDX HKG Chairman won with ALL write in votes!
