FedEx- trip drop
#11
When is the ability to "drop" a trip contingent of another pilot picking it up implemented?
That was a cost neutral "win" in our TA. I'm not sure the exact name it was assigned so I can't find it in the implementation table. Anyone know?

His point was that last Nov and Dec we were actively negotiating with the company with some hopes of making an imorovement in that area. Now we are stuck with this form for another six years. Makes sense that you were a yes voter.

So you think it is outside the realm of possibilities to but hard numbers and restrictions in the contract on the flagrant use of bogus STBYS to trick the computer programing. All you have to say is only bid pack or active leg trip pairings are considered in the decision matrix on open time. I did not say anything about real time trip trading.
If FX was really concerned with sick abuse they need to stop jacking with open time. Guys have certain family functions that sometime are equally or more important than your job. They try and drop it but when push comes to shove they have to call in sick for it.
We are post TA. A few extra trips in open time won't cause flights to be left at the gate, that is what draft and AVA are for.
