Default UAL just got a 20% Raise

Without even trying, just sayin. Not even in Negotiations. Just think what could have been if some at FDX would stand up against Fred just once in their life time. Enjoy that 9 year Cost of living Contract and dead in the water A-Plan.

Commando ... please show us how to do it right Mr. Negotiating GOD. Please? Chances are your contract will be a carbon copy of the FedEx contract (except that it will have taken you MUCH longer to negotiate)!*? You'll still be deadheading on your own airplanes, you'll still have NURPS, I could go on but I hope I've made my point

Because you guys couldn't stand up against to the NURPS? We were REALLY hoping you folks would go first and "RAISE THE BAR." That certainly didn't happen? GMAB!

You got that right, Mark.

Show us how to do it. We want UPS to get our contract and better. Do it! School us on how it's done.

And you left out the salient point that it isn't for nothing. It's for a contract extension that United apparently needs in order to get some special financing.

You all need to chill out and remember that we are all truly on the same team. Pilots working to better our profession. None of you are individually responsible for the successes or failures of your airline. Not one pilot has all the answers. Have you walked in the other persons shoes? Do you really know what it's like at another airline? We all have details inside our own airline, but throwing spears from the outside looking in is simply not wise. Grow up.

Commando, your tack is not working unless your purpose is just to tick people off. There is plenty of stuff in the FDX contract I would take over ours at UPS.

I know its frustrating with us being the unwanted stepchild here at ups but aim the frustration at the source of the problem not other pilot groups.

First, we haven't seen the offer yet. The jury is out until we can weigh the plusses and minuses of what is actually in there. Which in true interwebz fashion has been already guessed at or leaked from "reliable sources". Think i will wait and see.

Second, thanks to you and AA for setting a higher bar on pay. It appears to have driven the pay rates, and thanks to the Delta folks too for saying no since that helped us get a Delta "me-too" clause to boot. Your 75/73 rate was the basis for my input on the survey.

Suspect there are things to not like in there. We will see. More concerned next two weeks about hanging with my kids.

Commando is a UPS guy trying to stir the pot. Good luck with your contract, both pay and work rules.
