Hey,
Sitting here feeling unrepresented and I remember reading sometime ago in a comm msg that the MEC was promising to NOT bring a 51% vote to us.... Can't seem to find it in my emails... Anyone remember when that was promised us...?? Just want it in my hip pocket for the next time I'm face to face with my representatives....

What are the odds of an exact 51% vote? Almost impossible. The term "50% plus 1" is meant to express a situation where a TA is sweetened just slightly so as to put the vote over the top but to avoid making the TA so good that it is overwhelmingly accepted. The vote speaks for itself. It sure seems to present its quality as 50% plus 1. Everyone sees the same thing differently depending on their individual agenda.
