Don't know about your specific requests but I know classes are full until April.

Just curious what the timeline is from INDOC to SIM...then after SIM training how long before you start flying (IOE).
Thanks for any info provided.

An example is someone who started in November began sim in January. Still waiting since the sim broke. Looking like finishing in Feb. It varies.

Thans for the info. I understand the training is conducted by a Vendor....is it "sink or swim" or do they work with you if you need extra time?

SIMCOM does the training. Flexjet wants you to succeed. If you put in the work required to pass then you'll pass. If you don't you won't. Training failures are up over the last year and that's part of what drove Flex to raise their minimums. The expectation is that you come prepared, work hard, study hard, and pay attention. If you do that then you'll be fine. A training failure usually leads to additional training and re-check and not termination but a second failure usually leads to termination. It's not easy, but you are set up for success as long as you're willing to put in the required work to make yourself successful.

Id tell him to study like it is next week. Maybe not as much now, but just about a year ago people dropped out between Indoc and training becasue they got other offers (airlines). They called me and asked me to move up my training by 2 weeks due to openings.....

They will work to get you through. They were very forgiving with me.

If they hire you, they want you.
