Alright kids, knock it off before I turn this thread around. Enough with the measuring tapes.
To try and answer the original question, no, I don't think we utilize a third party as a consultant for medical issues. I could be wrong on that but after searching our HR material I couldn't find a reference to anyone. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, as I'm far from an expert on our benefits package, but my gut says we don't have one.
Now - enough taking random internet interactions too seriously for your own good, all of you.

Flexjet provides coverage for Loss of License with Harvey Watt and I am pretty sure that it makes their doctors avaible to discuss any pilot med issues as well. I only know this because I filed for a brief FMLA absence and immediately recieved and email from Harvey Watt as well indicating they were available to disuss anything regarding the situation and my medical, if needed. I would advise the new hire, your friend to look into that angle.
