Default FlexJet training?

Anyone have any info on FlexJet training? Schedule, atmosphere, intensity, class size, frequency of classes? I've got an interview coming up (yeah!) and want to have an idea as to what to expect. If offered a slot, will they be looking for me to start immediately, or would 30-60 days work?

Thanks.

Probably within a couple of weeks. You will be in Dallas for 1 month. Class size depends on how many were hired and which fleet. They do not hold your hand through training at all so you will have to study a lot. Open up and say AHHH!

Have a son who flies for FX. He just completed his Capt's IOE right at 25 months. Due to some training conflicts, they upgraded someone below him first, so he got something called "bridge pay", until after Capt's training. It amounted to Capt's pay while still a f/o. Info I have is about 2 years old, but training lasted about 5 weeks. Free hotel with breakfast while training. Full pay and per diem. As I recall, they met him at DFW with a limo for the interview. I believe this was on a Thursday and after the interview, they caught him at the elevator and asked if he could start the following Monday. He thinks the upgrade to the Challenger is about 6-8 years. He seems pretty happy with the operation. Usually spends the first and last days of the duty period dead heading to/from FLL. He keeps all f/f miles and hotel points. Good luck on the interview.

No. Currently recruiting for bases at DFW, FLL, and TEB only.

Do they assign you to a base, or can you chose?

I interviewed last week, and was allowed to chose from FLL, TEB or DFW. They are not recruiting for southern California.

Not sure if this is posted somewhere else, but what are the time/experience requirements at Flexjet? I am currently at a regional carrier that flies the Cl-65, and I am looking to get out. The airlines are not for me. I have too much respect for our passengers than to allow them to be treated the way that the airlines treat them. I think corporate is the way for me to go, and Flexjet sounds like a great opportunity. Any and all info, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
