I doubt it. Word from HR is that they have huge numbers of resumes and ground schools filled untill early summer.

Yes still have 40's. It's actually a newer model than the 45 (just cut it shorter). It was introduced to lower the price point for people getting into the bizjet market after the discontinuation of the 31. If assigned the 45, you will fly the 40s as well (same type). CA Payne is correct in that the tails are 6XXFX. Welcome aboard clyde! Love it here.

Correct. Pilots are trained for both 40 and 45.

Question response time from Flexjet

Does any one know how long it takes to hear from Flexjet once you submit your resume? I have had so many issues just trying to apply because the sight keeps booting me off, so I am not quite sure if my app got in. Any ideas?

Does anyone have the new Flex payscale that is to take effect in May, or is the currently listed payscale on airlinepilotcentral.com correct?

I thought that Flex was trying to come more in line with CitationShares and NJA. If so then the current first year FO pay listed on airlinepilotcentral.com of $40,560 is substantially below CS's $55,510 or NJA's 15 day flex rate of $62,563. Maybe these are the current rates and do not reflect the upcoming changes in May.

Any Flex guys out there wish to chime in on these numbers? If so, can you also explain how your bidding system works. I hear the junior guys can end up with some pretty brutal bid lines.

Thanks!

New scale first year is $278 a day. 13 bid periods, 16 days each equals $57,824.

Preferential Bid System (PBS) is supposed to consider your requests regarding rotation length, specific days on/off, etc. Like most companies, junior folks rarely get what they want. Most junior guys will get 6 day on/ 4 day off rotations, flying most weekends and holidays. As you move up, there are more 4 or 5 day rotations with better days off. Right now, the normal bid is 16 days out of 28. Depending on the fleet you are in, chances of getting less than that (which you can request) are not very good. If you really need a particular weekend off, you can bid reserve and get 3 days of your choosing guaranteed off*.
(*Some restrictions do apply.)

It's not always what I want, but I would never describe our schedule as "brutal". And it beats pouring over tons of lines to find the best one for you.
