Do anyone think Flex will ever change the domicile requirements anything in the future?

All I've heard is "TBA"[to be announced]. Maybe in conjunction with the May pay raise??

I was recently offered a class date with Flex, so I know less than nothing about company plans. However, I don't think you could go wrong with a company like FlexJet.

They pay a partial relocation stipened which I think is around $4K if you relocate within 90 days of hire and they have many other perks too. I hear/read about some folks being unhappy about some of their practices, but I am certainly glad I have been given an oppurtunity to be there.

Good luck!

Flexjet will probably not add domiciles as long as they are able to recruit a sufficient number of qualified pilots - and right now they can. I talked to HR about a guy I referred, and was told that they are "resume rich". Whereas you could get called within a couple of days of applying six months ago, you are now looking at a couple of months to get a call. And the ratio of those getting called has declined precipitously. From a pilot prospective, four domiciles stinks. But for management, it works - and that's why it will not change very much if at all.

#1 son is a pilot for Flexjet. He just returned from vacation and used his accumulated hotel points to stay at the Embassy Suites. Nice perk!!

Hey Joel, I see that by your other posts. I sounds like a great place to be and I'm sure he and I will cross paths at some point.

Clyde101,
Just curious, which jet are you going into? Flex doesn't have any bad machines. Congrats.

I was assigned to the LR45.

I was wondering if anyone knew if Flex still operated the LR40, or just the 45 now???

According to son, I believe they still have -40's. They are ship #'s 600. The -45's are #'s 400. #435 and up have APU's.
