Default Deciding between a Lift or University

Hello, I have been researching the best way to get to the end goal working for a big airline pilot, there are lots of ways to get to the end goal but was looking for a little insight. I am pondering between a program like a LIFT or ATP, or going to a University like MTSU to get a degree and flight training, or finally taking the military route. Thank you in advance.

There are more than a few pathways that could be ‘right’ for anyone. One shouldn’t have all the eggs in one basket, adjust as needed.

If near the end of high school, starting private pilot training is a great way to get started. That gets the ball rolling no matter where you go later.

Some type of degree past high school is almost a requirement.

Let’s say you could get a private pilot, start college, then get a coveted Guard or Reserves pilot slot. If so, that would be a great course of action. One could/should never count on that, do whatever it takes. Don’t let one speed bump along the way derail your plans.

Once you start more than just looking at planes it can get expensive. If you get a degree along with becoming a CFI, you can then get hours to be hired at a regional. Keep your peripherals clean, driving & the rest.

Hello there, Is it good an aviation relate program to be accepted by United? I'm getting all the licenses, at the end I want to start a program at one of the universities which are in partnership with the United Aviate program. They accept you with a degree related to aviation but not flight training?
