Default cheapest way to get atp rating?

i have unrestricted atp minimums, just paid for my atp ctp and passed the written, but seems a lot of places wont interview me without the actual atp rating itself. whats the cheapest way to get my multi ATP rating? and yea, i know the regionals will pay for it, but im planning to pay for it myself and ideally skip the regionals.

After you finish CPT and pass the written, find a flight school or club with a light twin and get some instruction in it until you can consistently perform the ATP ACS tasks to standard. Unless things have changed in the last few years, a stand alone ATP (i.e. with no type) is self endorsed, so you can make arrangements with a DPE as soon as you’re ready…and be absolutely sure that you meet all of the minimums and requirements before you test.

Not true. A number of 135 operators, talking about Phenom 100/300 or Hondajet operators, will hire with the ATP written. Some will even send you to their 142 contracted training centers to obtain a type rating, usually with a “Second in Command Required” Limitation. After a you return for your 293/297 recurrent. At that time the operator will opt for you to have the “Second in Command Required” Limitation removed from your airman certificate.

I've been trying to do this and have been really surprised how far in advance training operators are scheduled for their ATP practical classes. I have also bee surprised how few multi-training operations don't even offer ATP.

Operators don’t schedule for a ATP Rating. They schedule for training in general. The check ride, conducted by the TCE, if training is conducted by a 142 entity will conduct the check based on INHA or INHC.
