Depends on which state you are in. Benefits vary widely from nothing to all inclusive. It is Federal money but the states divi it out

I tried a couple of month ago, called up to TLH the people I talked to didn't seem to know anything.
I'll try Higher Power this week.

Looks doable in CT. I've talked to a case worker who has already gotten WIA/type rating approved for someone else. Only downside is state of CT maxes out at $4k, no matter what "region"/county you file in.

I've gotta contact all the other regions cause mine is out of $ for a couple of months... I can wait and do it when they get more $ or start hunting all over the state in other regions to see if they still have training $s

By the way, Higher Power is $8300 for the 733 EFIS and K&S is $7300 for the same thing.

Just a note that the fiscal year begins July 1 and this is when most of the WIA funding is granted, between July and year end. We have had good luck in California, Michigan, Virginia, etc. Florida and Texas appear to be impossible to get funding from. Best of luck to everyone and looks like quite a bit of hiring going on.
