Default 737 Type

Would anyone be willing to recommend a facility for getting a 73 Type?

I have seen many different prices and I don't always go with the least expensive. I want the right training.

Yes I want to get on with SW. I interviewed with them about 7 yrs. ago. I've applied again and would like to pursue the type now. I had signed up with K&S but canceled when I didn't get a job offer (7yrs. ago).

What do you think?

PM if you'd like.

Thank You.

I think Higher Power is the reputed connection to the interview fasttrack.

i'd like to recommend united, but they arent hiring anymore, something about a slowdown in the economy, decreasing capacity, parking 100 planes, and my favorite- paying too much for oil when it's at $91 a barrel.

i would get a better rating, like a business jet--- more of those type ratings dont help, i would think a very desireable business jet type would though.

HPA all the way. If your ultimate goal is SWA there is no better choice for a 737 type. I finished up end of July and was called for an interview one week later. From what I can tell SWA luv's HPA. The folks at HPA are great and the culture is very similiar to SWA's. The cost is more then others charge - but well worth the extra investment.

I did K&S and have no complaints...lowest cost for an EFIS program (helpful if you haven't flown steam gauges in 10 yrs. or are typed in 757/767, like me) that is VA approved...other places are cheaper but not VA approved so I went with them.

I did K&S and was very happy with the service they provided...I got typed 2 weeks ago and no call yet but not sure I'd get a call even if I went with HPA in today's environment. We did have the ACP of SWA's PHX base come talk to the class so I don't think HPA has the "exclusive chief pilot rights" they used to...just my $.02

Thumbs up

HPA all the way. They have recruiters come in every friday to meet the HPA students. I met all three of the recruiters at that time and 1 iof them nterviewed me weeks later. Now that is money well spent and I kept money out Kit Darby (a Crook) hands.

Where you go for your 737 type won't get you hired at SWA.Your interview and who reccomends you will get you hired. good luck!

Flight Training International:

FTI usually has about the best price for the type & they're pretty flexible with scheduling.
