I'm ex-Aloha and the State of Hawaii is covering up to $19,000 for a type. Corporate jets are usually more, cost wise, but a B757/767 is roughly $11,000 and a B777 is $15,500 if going with a partner. Don't know what I'll do with B777 and no time but WTH its free so why not get it. 13 day course with prior Boeing glass time.

I wish the state of Missouri could give us $19,000. We max out at $5,000 if you weren't dislocated to another state. Definitely take that opportunity and get as much as you can.

Hmm.... I'd rather get that G-V rating with G-450/550 training. Somehow there are more jobs for those with G-V rating than those with 777 rating.
You can kick the guy out of the airlines, but sometimes you can't kick the airlines out of a guy.

If you ARE interested in a corporate type, let me know and I can have the sales manager for your region at Simuflite contact you. They went through all of the paperwork and hoops the same time I did and have already put a couple of the NEG funding guys through in Dallas and Morristown.
