Just to clarify I meant this to mean a Part 141 school that is some how associated with a 2 year degree program. Get your ratings and a degree. Not Part 142 training. I guess it could be confusing.

You've received some good advice/suggestions here. Although I'm not an airline pilot, but in training, I would encourage you to broaden your perspective in terms of the types of flying that is available to offer you a solid and properous career. Check into 91/135 flying.

I would encourage you to become a member of aviation and non-aviation organizations that have members that are tied to the aviation industry and particularly to companies that you have identified that you would like to work for. There is absolutely nothing wrong with charting a course for yourself at this stage of the game. In addition to what you know......who you know plays a vital role as well.
