Your "ATP coverage" under the AOPA Legal Service plan covers enforcement actions related to your CFI certifciate.

But the AOPA Legal Services Plan simply does not protect you in the case of a civil lawsuit. It's just not designed for that level of coverage. For that you need a CFI insurance policy, which are provided by, among others, AOPAIA and Falcon Insurance (through NAFI). (Unless they've changed, although AVEMCO says they offer one, they really don't - it does no provide some necessary elements of coverage.
