Can anyone help me out with a flying resume? I'm looking to get one together and I've never made one, so I am not sure what the format is.
Could I get a link to an example, or maybe someone PM a copy of what their one.
Thanks alot.

Here are a few templates put up by APC that you are free to download and use (I kept the same format, but changed the outline and information included to my liking):

I recommend reading "job hunting for pilots" or "the savvy flight instructor" both have a lot of good info. I read both and recently (last week) got my first CFI job. Other things I was told:
use quality paper
one page (quality paper)
no staples
when listing position desired address the business ex. flight instructor or part 91 flying position at Joe's FBO
And obviously don't list hours that you have very little of ex. 3 hours SES
good luck

Thanks for help, guys. I am a low time guy, looking for that first job. I've talked to a few operations about banner towing and skydivers all of which the conversations were very pleasant and ended with "Come by and lets meet, and bring a resume..."
So thanks again.
So thanks again.

The APC resume templates are great for starters, but bear in mind the best resume is tailored for the exact company you are trying to get hired by.The best way to do this is get hold of someones' resume who works there, and compare it to yours. This would be a friend or maybe an airline/ aviation job counselor might have an example that is made for an exact HR department.
I like the idea about using good paper but I wouldn't go nuts on that. Good quality copy machine paper should do. Just don't use the cheapest copy paper run through the office laserjet. Do it in a color machine with some pretty good paper!
