Default AA Pilot?

Perhaps he meant "Alcoholics Anonymous" pilot? If so it is much easier to become one of those.

Take lessons, didn't take my first lesson until I was 25. Get a job at the local airport or commuter airline pumping gas, loading, bags, etc., work hard get to know the local profressional pilots. At least 2 year college degree. Get your ratings, eat and sleep flying, beg flight time anyway you can. You'll be suprised how much free or cheap flying will come your way. Get muti-time any way you can. Good Luck.

I say again

Another thing which I feel gives him away is if you look at any of his past or current posts, as people flame him for his mutilation of the english language and naive posts (which is not a bad thing if sincere) he never responds at all in retaliation or to defend himself

I miss him. He hasn't been on since April. I couldn't stop laughing reading his little 11 posts. Maybe we were rude?

Very possible...those were good times

I will extend a warm hand....Stiffler, I understand that some are grammatically lacking and we do not want to hold that against you. If you are in fact just an eager young aviator with sincere questions and a strong desire to fill your brain housing group with aviation knowledge that will carry you into your bright future, please reply and let us know. You are notorious for posting something that appears crazy and then riding off into the sunset. We are happy to answer your questions but dont leave us hanging!

There, I feel much better.

If he really is 15, we should cut him some slack.

Kids use this medium differently than older folks. You should see some IM converstations I've seen. It's like a foreign language.

I'd hate to see some kid who's interested in flying walk away from this site and all the great advice or feel too intimidated to respond.

Everyone thAT COMES TO THIS BOARD ISNAT AN EXPERT ON CAREERS IN AVIATION.

They need advice which is the reason they come to. Just becasue you understand the process of becomming a profesinal pilot doesntmena everyone does. This person may just not understand hence the reason this site exsists. To educate. Now if you are just going to ridicule than people will go elsewhere. Your elitist attitude is counter productive.
