No, they still have a large amount of Domestic students there also. Have a few friends still CFIs there.

YTD so far from what I heard most of them are just getting interviews and class dates at Go Jet.

Woo Hoo DCA was the bomb!(Said with lots of Sarcasm!) Too bad they got rid of Flying Services(Part 61), that saved me lots of cash there. Of course I've done mx on all the 152,172, PA-28R and PA-44's. I think Fabio still does stage checks on his off days from Republic. That's what he told me the last time I talked to him.

Yeah... it is a joke. The actual pay down there is $14/hr, not $17. As I've mentioned in threads before, that's downright criminal pay for a CFII. I make FAR more than that where I work.

Anything less than $20-25/hr. for an FAA Part 141 school is on the low side.

Part 61, it depends on location. However, anywhere from $35-$50/hr. is reasonable.

No he is not. Everyone there during Fabio's time is gone for the most part.

No medical or Dental also. They barely started to give vacation time about a year ago.

Mgmt there are tools to say the least. Paul M looked like the janitor when he walked around in his fruity jumpsuit. Mgmt there suffers from big fish/small pond syndrome, they like walking around with 4 bars on their shoulder acting like they are a captain of anything besides a desk or SR20.

L.W. was the head moron of the group. I do not know if he is still there but he is a horrible person to work for. He never was an airline pilot so it is one of those things, you know, those who can't..teach.

Jumpsuits? I guess I was out of there before the jumpsuits came out. I heard Paul M got promoted after I left.

Is L.W. another way to say Wm. L.?

DCA got an extra200 for an upset recovery course they wanted all new students to take. Paul became the instructor for this course and decided to wear a flight jumpsuit with patches all the time. He thought he was a fighter pilot. The problem was the extra200 was too underpowered to take paul and most other student up.

L.W. is Larry W.
