Default IFR simulators for sale?

With all of the hard times and flight schools going out of business I a wondering if there are any IFR legal simulators out there for sale that are cheap?

I'm not sure where to start looking so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Another thing you could which I think would be an effective tactic although it would take some effort, is to surf up a list of flight schools within driving range who may have had one at one time. Often these schools are listed on third-party websites even after they are closed. Then just call the former owner. Getting an active phone number maybe troublesome, but they must live somewhere and if you use your head you can find an number for them. Then see if the sim is sitting in the garage out back & offer a low figure for it. There may also be a federal registry of approved sims out there somewhere, and you may be able to get that list and just call the people on it.

Bill:
Depending on what you mean by "IFR legal", and depending on your expertise in simulator repair (a lot would be needed), I have a "maybe". You can PM me.
