Interesting. I can see how this would make a difference in how long it takes to stop on the runway if there were no brake pressure and you knew it going in. Like, you could choose a longer runway for example. The best use of a brake check for me would probably be shortening the rollout on grass strips by getting my feet on the toe brake a little earlier.

This is what I used years ago. Everything below fit on a 3x5 card that was on my kneeboard. The before landing checklist was placarded so I didn't include it. We had Piper Cherokee Archers and Warriors.

I'm glad it works for some people, but to be honest.....I don't know how to keep all of the 93 T's and 87 C's and 14 Q's and MARTTTHHHAAAA acronyms straight.

I'd be turning when I should be cramming or climbing when I should be talking. But when it works, you go with it!
