Howdy, y'all!

I thinking about going to ATP for the rest of my tickets. Can anyone comment on which ATP to go to? SAC, PHX, or....?

Thanks!

Don

Went to the one at Trenton, NJ (KTTN). A bunch of young guys building there time, but are happy to help! I did the three day ATP accelerated course. I thoroughly enjoyed it, however there are some who will say otherwise. I know of the one in Orlando, FL and Dallas, TX (not sure which airfield) got some poor ratings, but that information is almost a year old.

Do your homework on the company because it is a pretty penny. It was well worth it for me when I did it!

Hope this helps.

I just did the 4-day ATP course out in Mesa at the beginning of April. It was a blast, everyone that I talked to at the school seemed really nice including the DPE.

I recently did some training at the SAC location. Overall a good facility- the instructors I flew with were all sharp and knowledgeable. ATP is actually the largest school at SAC.

SAC has a nice practice area to the west, not too busy. You'll talk with Travis Approach and Sac Approach often. There are also several uncontrolled airports in the area. It can get windy, but that's just good opportunity for crosswind practice.
