Default Best study material for commercial?

What are some of your thoughts on best study material for the commercial written? Normally I take a Gliem book and black out all of the wrong answers and then read it like a book. Even if you don't know the answer to a specific question, the distractors don't sound right so you are able to pick out the right answer.

I checked the Sheppard site but didn't see anything for commercial except a military conversion.

So what do you folks us?

I have used Gleim material since my PPL. Didn't the FAA change the question bank? Either way, know your material cold. Yes I do agree that not all of us use an RMI or ADF or turn 10 degrees off a VOR and fly for x number of minutes and see how long it takes to get to that VOR...

I can't believe no one has any input on this. Looks like Gliem it is.

I've used Jeppesen for all of my students, and they've all done very well. King Schools also has a well respected program that is on DVDs. I personally have never taken a King Schools course, but I've had students who have used them and loved them. It's pretty tough to go wrong with any of the courses out there. It just depends on what kind of learner you are.

I have used this free site, free registration. It lets U practise the tests & review your wrong answers. U can do any number of practise test plus attempt all the questions from each chapter. That way U will have answered every single question relased by FAA.

Save money & use this..... I scored 95 on each FAA final test, pvt instrument & comm, by using this site.

http://mypilottests.com/

I am not promoting this site, this info is for the benefit of all people........

Gleim Computer software is what I have always used...The computer will save all the practice test you have taken and store the questions you got wrong. You can take as many practice tests as you want. Its really the only way to go in my opinion....

Exams4pilots. org has just about all of the faa written tests on there. So if your trying to become and instrument rated commercial balloon pilot, you're in luck

I used this site for my private and commercial. It has most of the supplemental charts as well, but its sometimes easier to have the gleim next to you in order to look at the charts. I'm pretty sure they use the same questions and maps.

I would certainly review the Gleim for the wierdo questions, but most importantly I would recommend you simply KNOW THE MATERIAL as outlined in the various handbooks and FAR/AIM. This knowledge is the true basis for your understanding how to apply it.
