I'm debating adding on my SES in the next few weeks. I've found a local spot that says to expect 5-7 hours for an add on. Anybody who has done it before, does that sound pretty realistic?
I was looking at using Texas Seaplanes, but if anyone has other suggestions I'm happy to hear.

as a datapoint... I have 6.4 hours of SES time. 0.8 was for checkride and 1 hour was spent sightseeing. (my TT back then was ~250 hours)

That's not too bad at all. The curriculum looks pretty simple, just focusing on the taxiing, takeoffs and landings.
The place I'm looking at uses a Maule to do their training...anyone have anything good or bad to say about it? Quirks to watch out for?
