There was a standard and gold version. Gold is more "deluxe" version and has more aircraft including aircraft equipped with the G1000. There is also an expansion called Acceleration, which also adds some extras.

Microsoft Flight Simulator X is compatible with Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit versions. You should be good with that since you are getting the Flight 1 LevelD 767.
Great, will order the MS X type then.

Probably won't go with the 767 right away, the FMS and MCP panel on the 747-400 and the 767-300 should be pretty simular and the purpose of this is to hit the right buttons and switches in the right sequence.

Noticed on ebay there is some differences between the MS Flight simulators, one was called the Gold version, one was not.

What is the difference if any?

All the best
If you are training for the 747-400 get the one PMDG makes for Microsoft Flight Sim. It is just as good or better than Level D's 767 in terms of quality and realism. It will probably be a lot more useful to you although the MCP's are pretty similar.

Nah, not going for the -400.
Stuck on the 757/767 for the forseable future.
I thought the 747-400 came with the MS flight simulator, so the plan was to just use the MCP panel and FMS boxes to practice RNAV and GPS approaches.
Never flown the -400 but thought the cocpit was pretty similar to the 767..

The seller on e-bay says MS Flight sim X does not work with Windows 7..Now what..?
