Ryan Aviation is at Flagler. I've never dealt with them, so can't speak to that. AOPA Pilot did a short feature about them a month or so ago. They teach in an amphib Husky.

Thanks for all the info! It is appreciated guys. I've flown to KXFL a lot and I've seen the Ryan Air seaplanes flying around there almost every time. Getting the rating in a Husky is appealing too. But so is the flight school in Winterhaven... hhmm decisions decisions. I will probably just get the Seaplane Commercial as it seems it is just about the exact same check ride (albeit to slightly higher standards).

I would think waders would be more useful than waiters. The most important part of float training I think is having fun.
