Default FAA/JAA Licence. CFI?

Hey guys, this is my first time writing in the forum, great work and great enviroment, i hope i can help too sharing my experiences.

I'll be moving soon to US, with my JAA licence, where I'll obtain my FAA ratings, also CFI, so i'll have both liceces and i'll be also CFI.

My question is, how do you think is the instruction market? is "easy" to find a job as instructor? when I say easy i mean that after some research and interviews, is feasible.

And do you think my JAA licence could help in this search?

thanks folks

P.S: i'll have also a green card, no problem there.

Yes, you should be able to get a job eventually. JAA certs will also open a few jobs at JAA academies.

But keep in mind...schools often like to hire their former students. Select the school you do your conversion at carefully, make sure it's a place you want to work at and that they are likely to have an opening for you.

thanks for the reply rickair7777, that's what someone told me, to check carefully the school. and of course it's what i'm doing, but there's a ton of school jeez. i'll keep searching, although i have found one in florida wich seems very professional. they also told me that this FAA/JAA is a good point to found the job after the training, or directly join the school.
