US Aviation Academy just got a new loan program with Wells Fargo Student Loans. It's the exact same loans that ATP offers but with a much lower program price. Has a fixed-price, Part 141 training with self-examining, and 9 month timeline.

Do you guys hire part time instructor? I been to China for teaching before so I believe I'm ok working with those Chinese students.

We don't typically hire part time except for the King Air program. Because all of our students are full time and we like to keep them with one primary instructor, we really need full time instructors.

Thank you very much, so what's the most full time instructors schedule looks like? Weekends off?

Erica Mahan, our recruiter, would be best to answer those sorts of questions. You can PM me for her details.

I do know shifts are on a bid system, so senior guys typically get weekends off and new instructors will generally be working the weekends.

I'm on the admin side FYI, not an instructor.

I was interested I’m talking to someone about the program with the new loan option as I have been looking to move home to the Dallas area however it’s been a nightmare getting someone to actually respond to my questions. Twice now I have emailed some questions and both times been sent a link to the webpage for the career program (which does not answer my questions)

Does anyone have a direct email address to someone in student recruiting?

Absolutely, can you PM me and I'll either answer your questions or give you some email addresses?

I have just applied here, I note that flying seems to have gone from "as many hours as you can handle" in 2012-2014 to "instructors are not flying" in 2017. What is the current situation now? And what is the forecast for the next few years?

We've always been busy but instructors are certainly getting the hours they want right now. We've flown about 4,500 hours in the first 15 days of November.
